Row Three Opens November 26th

I hope at least a few of you went over and heard the most recent Cinecast at Movie Patron. In the show Andrew talks about the brand new Row Three website. Row Three is project I mentioned in the previous post concerning changes here at Film Grotto.
Row Three is a collaborative site that deals with film and cinema. The contributors consist of Kurt Halfyard from Twitch Film and the Movie Patron Cinecast, Marina Antunes from Mad About Movies, Jonathan Burdick from Cinema Fusion, Andrew James from Movie Patron and myself.
The mission of Row Three is to create a movie site that encourages discussion between the five authors and the movie community. We will provide thought provoking pieces that deal with Cinema and Film. Two reoccurring features that we currently have planned are “Finite Focus” in which we dissect a particular scene out of a movie and “Extended Thoughts” where we delve a bit deeper into a movie. Both of these will go past just being a review and hopefully will get the reader thinking and will encourage discussion. In addition to these two reoccurring features you can also expect other feature articles, movie reviews, news and opinions.
I should also mention that Row Three will also be home to three podcasts. The Cinecast from Movie Patron, Mad Film Gab (under a new name) and the Grotto Cast (under a new name) shall all be housed at Row Three. You will be able to subscribe to one or all of the podcasts.
I am really looking forward to being part of Row Three and I’m sure that its readers will find it to be a great spot on the web to discuss film and cinema. Be sure to check us out starting Monday, November 26th.
